Exit Pages

This report shows the last page a visitor viewed before leaving your web site.

This is a good indicator of the effectiveness of your content, site architecture and navigation. Do most visitors leave your site from the pages you want them to or do they end their visit prematurely? If large numbers of visitors exit from a particular page you might want to improve the navigation or content.

The information in this report can be used effectively in combination with the various navigation reports. If your most popular entry page is also the most popular exit page, you may want to improve its content and navigation to help you increase the total number of pages viewed.

A high percentage of exits from this page may indicate that the page is confusing or that it does not function well as a landing page.

The report's table widget displays exit pages which belong to visits performed on the selected SharePoint site. The chart and meter widgets show the number of exit pages for the selected SharePoint site.
