How do I connect CardioLog to a WSS 3.0 Windows Internal Database?

  1. In the CardioLog installation folder, open SP2007Tree\Web.config.
  2. Edit the connection string for the content databases: change the name of the SQL server to \\.\pipe\MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE\sql\query, and leave the database placeholder as it is.
  3. Browse to http://[cardiolog server/port]/sp2007tree/default.aspx - and verify that you can see your portal structure (XML).
  4. Do not run the configuration wizard. Just wait for the Portal Tree Updates service to run (at 12:00am by default).
